Stringer Says No More Pink Slime In Schools

According to DNAinfo, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer announced at a press conference today that he had sent a letter to Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott in which he urged the Department of Education to develop a plan that would remove “pink slime,” a mixture of meat byproducts exposed to ammonia to kill bacteria, from lunches in New York City public schools.
