Students in New York sit down and take the New York State Assessments, but many states were still making decisions on what tests to administer this spring.
There’s one state still undecided, but as of Feb. 4, 28 states and Washington, D.C. have opted to join either the Smarter Balanced or Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers consortiums.
