U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan spoke out against media publication of public teacher ratings, Education Week reports. Duncan said the teacher ratings are not a full picture of teacher performance, and should only be used in conjunction with “thoughtful conversations with principals, teachers, parents, with strong union leaders…”
