Brooklyn Academy of Science and Environment high school teacher Esran Boothe was arrested for sexually abusing a student, the New York Times reports. The arrest prompted the school’s chancellor Dennis M. Walcott to review and analyze back cases of abuse and fire four school aids on staff. He also began the proceedings to fire four tenured teachers.
