Universities Are Admitting Students for Spring Rather Than Fall Terms

There is a growing national trend amongst universities to accept students for the spring rather than the fall term, requiring them to wait six months after graduating from high school, according to an article in The New York Times this week. Some colleges allow students to apply for spring admissions themselves, but others make the decision for the students. It saves colleges money but also often upsets the affected students. Some students even ask to be un-admitted and placed on fall waiting lists, according to theĀ Times.
