Bill de Blasio Faces Challenging Questions on Morning Joe

This morning, Bill de Blasio faced a barrage of difficult questions on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

Hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski pressed the mayor on his stance toward charter schools, and even brought up de Blasio’s son as part of their argument.

De Blasio responded several times, and brought up his universal pre-k plan. “I’ve never been against charter schools,” he said. “I have to worry about 1.1 million kids a year. By the way, only 70,000 go to charters. But I care about those 70,000.”
