About 100 emergency child care centers to open in New York City

New York City will open about 100 regional enrichment centers next week for children of emergency services workers, health care workers and transit workers, and some other vulnerable students. The sites will provide remote learning and meals for students age 3 through 18, with no more than 12 children per room. The centers will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. [The New York Times]
