Record Cut in New York State Preschool Funding, Study Shows

New York’s preschool financing plummeted by more than $548 million, or 10 percent, in the 2011-12 school year. This is the largest annual drop in 10 years, a report released Monday by the National Institute for Early Education Research at Rutgers University found.
